Rotatech Makes its Biggest 2018 Appearance at the APF Show

The 2018 APF Show, held at Warwickshire, was a record-breaking show receiving a new record number of visitors. Rotatech was one of the main participants at the 20th anniversary of the event, exhibiting the complete Rotatech range of products including chainsaw chains, bars, files and oil, as well as stump grinder teeth and chipper blades.

Record-Breaking Attendance

The APF Show draws arborists and enthusiasts from all over the world. The 2018 show received over 8,300 visitors, which was a growth of 22% over the previous year attendance.  This was a special anniversary event which proved to be an attraction for the media, including coverage by BBC Radio Gloucestershire. Among the public figures, Shadow Minister for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs David Drew and Conservative MEP Ashley Fox were the notable names. The event is expected to cross the 10,000 mark next year.

Rotatech At The APF Show

The Rotatech demonstration area received a huge gathering, with crowds flocking to check the latest chainsaw chains and other Rotatech products. Rotatech Chains to fit all major brands of chainsaws including STIHL, Husqvarna, Alpina, AEG, and Alko were on display.

Highlights of the APF Show

The anniversary show saw several events, competitions, and star visitors. The lucky draw saw the winner take home a brand new STIHL chainsaw. The 3ATC Climbing Competition was won by Graham Bird. There was an Arborists Workshop where several topics on the safety of arboriculturists were discussed. England Rugby Union players Tom Youngs and Tom Croft were also present posing for pictures and signing balls for fans.

Other attractions at the show included the Knot Tying Competition, lumberjack sports performances, the larger Stroud Brewery bar, and more.
